Lumen Arts were invited by the Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester, to install Larissa Sansour and Søren Lind’s video artwork ‘Familiar Phantoms‘. Our first major install at The Whitworth since Elizabeth Price’s exhibition, A LONG MEMORY.

The show is a large scale A/V install with immersive 7.1 surround sound and a 6.5m wide screen. It’s a fantastic, moving video with powerful sound. It runs at The Whitworth until 21st of May, 2023.

Sadly, this would be the last A/V install Lumen Arts would do, after 22 years of services for the arts from 2001 to 2023. We would like to thank The Whitworth for all of the dynamic exhibitions we have worked on with them over the years. This last one was no exception.
